The Chilcot report is a revelation of injustice under the cloak of Aid. The Chilcot report is a sorry report on the current state of humanity. So the ultimate question here is — what are we going to achieve out of the sorry reports when “sorry” has no meaning in action? Nilantha Ilangamuwa
About This Quote

The Chilcot report was announced by Theresa May, the British prime minister, after she had decided that she was going to hold a meeting with the relatives of the dead soldiers killed during the Iraq War. The meeting was to be held in London to discuss her decision to hold an inquiry into the actions of the British government during the duration of the war. She wanted to show her regret for those who had died as a result of their participation in the war and she also wanted to explain as much as she could about what had happened. After her decision, she received strong criticism from people who believed that she had acted unethically by not only holding the meeting but also by not releasing all of her findings before doing so. The criticism led her to release an announcement stating that she would be releasing her report and it would be made public on July 6th.
